Love this breakdown. The distinction between output and impact is something many teams overlook.

Also, cutting low impact tasks sounds great on paper but it's often tricky in practice. Would love to hear how Appolica decides what makes the cut ,any frameworks or decision matrices you use to prioritize highimpact work?

Thanks, Noah! Glad you found the breakdown useful.

At Appolica, we rely on a mix of structured frameworks and real-world iteration to prioritize high-impact work. One key approach we use is the ICE scoring model (Impact, Confidence, Effort), which helps us quickly evaluate potential initiatives. Another is the Eisenhower Matrix, which forces us to distinguish between what’s truly important vs. what just feels urgent.

But beyond frameworks, we constantly reassess priorities based on business goals, client needs, and product outcomes. A task might seem necessary at first, but if it’s not driving tangible results (for us or our clients), we’re not afraid to cut or rethink it.
